PART 2: The Reattachment 🔥

This is where the magic happens… but a successful loc reattachment is about more than attaching locs back to the head.

For this install, I used natural locs on freshly cleansed hair and attached them using both a 1-prong and 2-prong crochet tool for a seamless, secure hold.

One of the most important parts of any reattachment is determining the correct parting size. The foundation has to be able to support the weight of the loc over time. If the sections are too small, thinning, weak spots, and breakage can become a concern down the road.

After every loc was attached, I shampooed the entire head again to check for slippage, weak attachments, or holes before sending my client on their journey. Because the goal is healthy reattachment and longevity.

Good foundations create healthy locs.

May 18th, 2025 — Grand Opening ✨

Today reminds me that sometimes the biggest victories are the ones people never fully see behind the scenes.

There was a time when this day felt far away… maybe even impossible. But despite the pressure, the fear, the sacrifices, the setbacks, and everything I carried silently… I still opened those doors. And when I looked around and saw clients, friends, and family showing up for me, supporting me, and celebrating with me… my heart was genuinely full.

This was more than a grand opening for me. It was the start of a new chapter, a leap of faith, and proof that God carried me through moments nobody knew I was struggling through privately.

It became proof that resilience, consistency, and faith can create something beautiful even during uncertain seasons.

A full-circle moment forever. 🙏🏾✨
